Cedar Lake Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Outing
11a.m. South Shore Country Clu b 14400 Lake Shore Drive CL $70.00 per person Reservations for the Golf Outing can be made at the Chamber of Commerce Office or by calling 374-6157. Tee offs begin at 11a.m. and continue to 1p.m. The ticket includes golf fees, a shared cart, food and beverages and prizes. Specialty offerings will be available on various holes. Prizes will also be awarded for the - Closest to the Pin; Longest Drive, Longest Putt.

Autumn Harvest Parade of Lights - Cedar Lake Hometown Fest
6p.m. Line up Start 7p.m. Line up Hanover Central High School Free The Cedar Lake Chamber of Commerce Autumn Harvest Parade Committee will join with the Cedar Lake Summerfest to expand the town's Hometown Fest. We will hold our Autumn Harvest Parade of Lights the evening of Hometown Fest. Lineup for the parade will begin at 6p.m. at Hanover Central High School. The parade will start at 7p.m.and go to the Town Complex Grounds where Hometown Fest is being held. Once everyone is there, the Chamber will host a fireworks display over the lake. Cedar Lake Junior Miss Program
3p.m. Hanover Central HighSchool Tickets $5.00 in advance $10.00 at the door This will be the 36th annual Cedar Lake Junior Miss Program. Eight young women who are Cedar Lake or Hanover and Center Township residents in their Senior year in High School will participate.
The winner of the title Cedar Lake Junior Miss will compete in the state program in February of 2011. for tickets contact the Chamber office or Hanover Central High School.

Cedar Lake Chamber of Commerce Candidate's Night
7p.m. Great Oajks After 4 Club Free The Cedar Lake Chamber of Commerce will once again host a "Candidates Night". The event will be held on Thursday, October 28 at 7p.m. at the Great Oaks After 4 Club 13109 Wicker Ave. They are inviting candidates in local and township elections to discuss their platforms with the public. Each candidate will have a specific time to speak followed by a question and answer session. There is no cost to attend.
