The Cedar Lake Police Department, in conjunction with the United States Attorney’s Office and the United States Postal Inspection Service, will be hosting a Crimes & Scams Against the Elderly Awareness Program designed to provide relevant and informative information with respect to this important issue.  The discussion will include the following related topics:  Telemarketing Scams, Internet Fraud, Investment Schemes, Sweepstakes & Lottery Scams, and the “Grandparent” Scam.

This is a public event and pre-registration is NOT required.
