For Residential Sellers & Businesses

Participating in the Town-Wide Yard Sale gives you the exposure of a community-wide event—bringing more shoppers directly to your doorstep.

As a registered seller, you’ll:

• Declutter and earn extra cash
• Attract more shoppers through coordinated, town-wide marketing
• Be featured on our official print and digital yard Town-Wide Yard Sale Map
• Receive a professionally printed yard sale sign
• Connect with neighbors and the community

Residential Sellers will choose specific days and times to participate at time of registration. Business Sellers are highly encouraged to participate on Saturday, August 1st. 

For Shoppers

Get ready for a weekend treasure hunt! With dozens of homes participating, you’ll find everything from household items and décor to clothing, furniture, and unique one-of-a-kind finds.

As a shopper, you’ll:

FOR SELLERS

Do I need to participate all four days?
No. Residential sellers can choose to participate on the days and times that work best for you. We recommend Business Sellers participate on Saturday, August 1st to maximize traffic.

How do I get my yard sale sign?
Details on sign pickup will be shared after registration. Be sure to register early to ensure availability.

When should I place my yard sale sign?

The yard signs should be placed on your front lawns as soon as you are open for business and removed when you are done selling for the weekend.

What do I do with my yard sign after the event is over?
Details on sign drop off will be shared after registration. 

Can I update my information after registering?
If you need to make changes (such as featured items or participation days), please contact the Chamber as soon as possible so updates can be reflected on the map if timing allows.

FOR SHOPPERS

Do I need to register to shop?
No registration is required—this event is free and open to the public!

Where can I find the yard sale locations?
All participating homes will be listed on our official print and digital Town-Wide Yard Sale Map.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Payment methods will vary by seller. Many accept cash, and some may offer digital payment options like Venmo or Cash App.

Media Notice: Photos and video will be captured throughout the event to highlight this Chamber experience. Content may be used across Cedar Lake Chamber of Commerce marketing channels, including social media and promotional materials.
